Elasticsearch is known for being a first class open source solution for BigData Search and Analytics. On the other hand one could think of using it as a schema less NoSQL store. In this use-case oriented talk the advantages and pitfalls of using Elasticsearch as primary storage for billions of records over the last two years will be explained.
