NoSQL Search Roadshow London 2013

Presentation: "Getting started with Graph Databases"

Time: Wednesday 10:50 - 11:35 / Location: Pound

In this talk, we will explore several simple but specific examples of how Enterprise developers can start using graph databases to solve real-world business problems with sound technical solutions. Specifically, we will zoom into how Neo4j can be used to use graph structures in specific use cases, like for example:

  • fraud detection, in financial services and other domains
  • customer data management, for example in a telco environment
  • impact analysis, from software testing to network/device management
  • social and retail recommendations, for various cross-industry applications

We will be explaining the basic concepts of how to do this, as well as demonstrate this based on a real running database with live queries."
