Presentation: "Transforming the way people use Legislation Information"

Time: Wednesday 12:45 - 13:30 / Location: Pound

The National Archives’ Legislation.gov.uk service was created in partnership with TSO to be the world’s first state legislative records service published online, and available in multiple formats. The new website is one of the first government services to fully meet the linked data principles advocated by the Public Sector Transparency Board, and is the first site of its kind in the world, transforming public and professional access to legislation data.

Also learn how TSO has worked closely with The National Archives to introduce a sophisticated electronic processing system, conforming to the e-government priority of opening up public data, resulting in the Gazettes. The Gazettes are complex publications with over 5,000 customers placing more than 200,000 notices each year.
