NoSQL Search Roadshow San Francisco 2013

Presentation: "Introduction to Riak and the Future of Search in Distributed Systems"

Time: Thursday 11:40 - 12:25 / Location: To be announced

In this talk, we'll explore the architecture and properties of Riak - including consistent hashing, gossip protocol, hinted handoff, anti-entropy and querying - and how these properties relate to the possibilities and limitations of search in a distributed key/value store. We'll look at how full-text search is currently implemented in Riak, its future, and what that means for search and queriability in the larger distributed systems market.
